Having lived in Milan for over seven months, I can now proudly tell that I know the city quite well. And, even if I am still discovering new spots, some have already imposed themselves in my day to day life. The city has plenty of vibrating terraces and now that the weather is starting to get hotter I really appreciate drinking a Spritz in open-air aperitivos.

For those who aren't aware, the aperitivo concept represents one of my favorite milanese traditions. It simply means: buy a drink, get plenty of complementary food. This marvelous invention is offered all around the city and I have managed to try a bunch of places already (for research purposes of course)... and if the place has beautiful views it is obviously even more enjoyable

Anyway, here is my top five of Milano's rooftops:

Sky Terrace
One of the most secret rooftops in the city. It is calm and cosy. (picture above)
Hotel Milano Scala, Via dell’Orso, 7 20121 Milan

La Rinascente
Incredible view of the Duomo. Plus, you get to buy some tasteful groceries on your way back.
Piazza del Duomo, last floor, 20121 Milan

Radio Rooftop Bar
This is probably one of the first rooftops I discovered and it has in my opinion the most scenic views.
Via Marco Polo, 1103, 20124 Milan

Ceresio 7
Stunning pool and delightful restaurant. I spent my last 21st birthday here and adored it.
Via Ceresio, 7, 20154 Milan

La Terraza di Via Palestro
This terrace overlooking the park is perfect to take a breather and just chill with some friends.
Via Palestro, 2, 20121 Milan

From the moment oversized earrings made their appearance over the latest Spring 2017 runways, they've become one of my biggest fashion crushes.

I honestly can't get enough of these statement hoops !

Spring is here and I am ready to finally trade my sneakers for cute Sam Edelman fringed sandals.
These heels are the perfect choice to style any outfit whether it's a dress or just basic jeans.

Some other pairs on my Spring wish list:

New Yorkers are obsessed with brunch.

Eggs Benedict, bacon, mimosas and avocado toasts... almost every place I have been to have these dishes on their menus. Manhattan has a lot of offer in terms of restaurants (approximately 10480). Adding this to the fact that most brunch places will make you wait 30 mins before getting a table, the late breakfast experience can seem quite complicated.
